The Story:
My mother bought my Cowdett as brand new, the 26/12-1983!
I bought it from her, when she got a newer model (Astra F st.car) in 1995!
It was never ment to be any other colour than White, but that would change!
Well eventally all cars begin to rust! My mother gave it an overhaul in 1991, and in 1996 it neaded a new "facelift"!
I fixed all the rust exept for the front wings (as you can see in the pictures), and painted the repaired areas white. As soon as I was finished, then I discovered that Opel's white certainly wasn't white. I could have left it as it was, but the paintjob must have done things to my brain, because I started to cover 50% of the car in maskingtape. After adding some black paint, nobody would see the white spots! (I must say, everybody noticed the black spots)!
In the beginning, everybody stared, but eventually the Cowdett was accepted.
Now people think it's a great idea, and everybody has seen us someware, when we tell them that we are the people with the CowCar!
