Smart Cow

I recieved this foto, from a reader, who had spotted this cute CowCar on a vacation.

If you have any information about this car, or aditional images, please contact me!

My father has the same model, only black/red, and I must admit, that I wouldn´t mind having one two. Turbodiesel, aircon, glassroof, and all the space you need for two people. Unfortunately there isn't space for all three of us.

They handle brilliantly, as long as the road isn't slippery.

The CowDett

The CowDett was our first CowCar.

The Story:

My mother bought my Cowdett as brand new, the 26/12-1983!
I bought it from her, when she got a newer model (Astra F st.car) in 1995!
It was never ment to be any other colour than White, but that would change!

Well eventally all cars begin to rust! My mother gave it an overhaul in 1991, and in 1996 it neaded a new "facelift"!

I fixed all the rust exept for the front wings (as you can see in the pictures), and painted the repaired areas white. As soon as I was finished, then I discovered that Opel's white certainly wasn't white. I could have left it as it was, but the paintjob must have done things to my brain, because I started to cover 50% of the car in maskingtape. After adding some black paint, nobody would see the white spots! (I must say, everybody noticed the black spots)!

In the beginning, everybody stared, but eventually the Cowdett was accepted.
Now people think it's a great idea, and everybody has seen us someware, when we tell them that we are the people with the CowCar!

Asian disaster!

The world is in shock, after the natural disaster has killed thousands of innocent people.

My family has friends in Hikkaduwa and Galle, but has not been able to get hold of them, to hear if all is OK.

I would like to encourage you all to help those who help the civilians in the area where the tsunami struck.

Please donate to Médecins Sans Frontières, the Red Cross, or one of the other help organisations that are helping the needing.

Welcome to the third version of CowCar.net

This is a far more simple website, compaired to the previous version.

The previous one, was absolute overkill!
